Individual Vinyl
For this project, I learned tons, because the first time we learned vinyl, Ms. Proctor did the majority of my vinyl, so I couldn't exactly remember how to do it. I struggled lots, but then I got some good explanations and I was fine. I didn't have any sketches or anything, since I already knew what I wanted to do.
The Process
This project wasn't too difficult, since it was just creating it in Inventor, then just cutting it out. The vinyl cutter was super fast and efficient, so it only took me two days to do this. I had to wait a while for the opening to get into the vinyl cutter, so that took an extra day, but I was still good on time. after creating the inventor file, I uploaded it to my flashdrive, plugged it into the computer connected to the vinyl cutter. I then sent it to the vinyl cutter program, Cut Master, and sent it to cut. I had to load the roll/sheet first, but that wasn't that difficult after the first time. When I sent the vinyl to the cutter, it cut it out really fast, and I was done with my bunches of colors in less than 30 minutes. I then started weeding and getting everything onto transfer tape. Once that was done, I put a big piece of transfer tape over the whole thing, and was ready to go. I don't have a lot of pictures, but here are the few I have.
I also do not have a final image of the application, as my car is dirty and the vinyl wouldn't stay.
